Her colleague therapist came in and definitely made me feel like a new man. I do recommend this place if you have those nagging aches and pains. Amazing!! If your looking for a wonderful relaxing hour of pampering and peace royal foot spa does not disappoint. I took my mom here with me as she is going through battling cancer and she told me for that whole one hour she "didn't feel like a cancer patient" she didn't feel her pain of anything!! She was able to relax completely and even told me she fell asleep!! just that alone tells you that royal foot spa really does the trick in helping you rest and relax. I myself had a wonderful experience at 9 months pregnant and swollen ankles royal foot spa relieved the pressure in my legs and even helped reduce the edema from carrying my baby through the summer months. Been a few years since I've gone, no reason in particular. But once again got Mike, he's the guy you want. I went in because for the past few weeks I have been having some pretty bad left shoulder pain, probably from swimming and the way I sleep. Anyway he worked on it, blinding pain but that's what I want, along with other ligaments like the forearm that attach to the shoulder, blinding pain again, lol, it is sore right now but I already feel a huge difference when I lift my arm up. He knows what he is doing and the only person I'll go see. (Nothing against the others as I have not had them) also the owner Josephine remembered, so that's def noteworthy for a business.

I am very happy I went to this place yesterday on a whim. I just walked in and it was empty so I asked for a 60 minute foot massage and he took me right away. It was not just a foot massage - they soak your feet for about 15 minutes while doing so massage your neck shoulders lower back and then start the arms the neck scalp and cover you with a soft blanket make you comfy with lots of pillows - then the foot : leg massage starts mine was so relaxing I felt asleep multiple times. It was quiet and everyone was nice and pleasant I can't see any reason not to go back or give a great tip. It was $45 for a full 60 minutes - and they don't cheat you for one minute . That makes me happy. I will gladly go back.

I have been coming to Josephine for relaxing and relieving massages for more than two years now. Josephine and all her staff are very professional and amazing masseuse. They all very knowledgeable and intuitively work through releasing knots and aches off the body. Josephine makes you feel very comfortable and will make sure to take care of you once you are at her spa. They will not hurry you off and instead will make each moment of your worth while. She and her staff offers all levels of massage experience, whether one is looking for gentle and relaxing experience or is looking to release any knots or muscles spams. The spa is very neat, well kept with soothing and very relaxing energies. The massage chairs and beds are very comfortable and relaxing. All this in a very affordable price. They charge DIRT cheap for their massages. Give them a damn 20% tip if they ask for it. I hAve gotten massages in Paris, Italy , LA, NYC at some of the finest places around and this place exceeds them all. Josephine is hands down the most talented therapist I have come across. If you people can't afford a 20% tip, don't come in for a massage. The prices are SUPER CHEAP so yeah , they expect a decent tip. I can't stand cheap people. Do you know how hard the massage therapist works her/his body to touch you for an hour without coughing, sneezing, eating , or going to the bathroom? Have some respect. Their business is the BEST. I can't believe ANYONE would complain about the prices! I have never found cheaper. Even the crappy Massage Envy and Hand and Stone franchises that give 45-50 minutes charge much more.... $100 they charge unless you sign up for an expensive monthly membership. I can't say enough good things about this place.

This is my second time going here, the first time was almost a year ago for only a 1hr massage, which was very good.

Tonight I was in the mood for a massage but realized it was late and no places would prob take me. I called RFS at 730pm and was scheduled for 9pm for a 30min reflexology and 30min body massage. I started the 30min reflexology shortly after arriving and it was great. Lucy had asked if I'd like a 1hr massage instead of 30min, and I accepted. I felt bad that it was getting late but who can pass up a longer massage?! Marc gave me a 1hr massage after the reflexology. It was probably the best massage Ive had in a very long time. I prefer stronger massages with more pressure and this hit the spot- literally. I've had massages before where some focus only on the back, or tickle, or leave me achy, and this was not the case. All areas were tended to and felt amazing. I highly recommend this place because of the services, nice and accommodating staff, and the moderate prices.

I had an excellent massage by Michael yesterday and now I am a member of his club. I have severe back issues stemming from scoliosis and his methods are amazing. I have tried atleast 100 therapists and never like this. Deep tissue at its best.

I used to have problem with my sciatica and just after a few visit here the pain was gone,they are really good ,clean place , very friendly people ,and it's cheaper than other place ,tipping them is worth it because they do an excellent job, can't complain about that i will give them more if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our couples foot massages today! My husband and I walked in with no appointment and were taken right away. I made sure to ask if reflexology was ok for pregnant women (I'm 33 weeks). When we were seated, I noticed all the "quiet" signs which I really appreciated because nothing is worse than some loud mouth on their phone!! We've all sat next to her while getting a pedicure, am I right??
So they closed the curtains and made a nice relaxing environment for us to really relax and unwind.
First they washed our feet and then dried them off. The man who did me made sure I was comfortable since I'm pregnant, which was very thoughtful. We were covered with a plush blanket and basically tucked in before they started! Next they massaged our hands and arms for 5 min each. After they massaged our feet and legs. At the end we were toweled down and handed a glass of water.
It was $54 for two of us to have 30 min foot massages and worth every penny!
I will absolutely be back! I wish I could go every day after work, but I think I'll stick to Sunday mornings.

First time here and decided on a whim to give them a shot although I just had a massage the day prior elsewhere. My feet still felt like they needed some attention so I called an hour before time for a 2pm appt which they gladly accepted.

Upon arriving, there wasn't anyone upfront so I waited for about 5 minutes before someone showed up. No biggie though because it gave me a chance to look around.

I was brought into a room with multiple leather like reclining chairs with soothing music playing in the background. It was dim which further enhanced your spa like experience. My masseuse, Lucy, brought out a basin of water and had me soak my feet while she massaged my whole back, neck, shoulders, arms, and scalp. At first, I thought maybe I requested the wrong package as I was just expecting them to concentrate on my feet, but after she was done and had me recline back with a fuzzy blanket covering me, I felt at total peace and ready for my foot massage.

Lucy knew exactly where to massage and apply pressure throughout my whole experience. She did not try to upsell me anything and only checked in intermittently if the pressure was ok. I am super pleased with her skills!

My only caveat and reason for 4 stars is that next to me was a gentleman who was being pressured constantly to upgrade to different lotion and then half body massage which he repeatedly stated he just wanted his feet done although he eventually gave in. I'm certainly happy I was not treated that way, but I don't think I would have been polite as him if I was constantly being asked why I did not want to add on a massage. You already practically get a full body massage with reflexology package A!

Although you certainly don't have your feet worked on for 60mins, you certainly are massaged for the full time. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and Lucy is fantastic! I will return and request to have her again.

We're from out of town, and randomly called to see if three of us could get appointments. They could fit us in, though they were booked the rest of the day, and we received three wonderful services. The staff was wonderful, the environment delightful, and the skill was unmatched (and we consider ourselves experts). Worth a long drive for, so if you're local, go for it!

Been coming here for over one year. Due to my office job, my back and shoulders are very achy by the end of the week. I have become a regular customer here to "recharge" so I can feel normal and enjoy times with my family. Both Josephine and Michael are very attentive. Michael checked in multiple (but not too many) times to assess quality or how bad my pain was and the massage was continuously awesome. Will certainly be returning and recommending to friends!

After my third visit, I could confidently say that I will definitely be back. I've always been very loyal to CoCo Spa in Flushing, NY. But spending lots of time in Jersey lately, I've decided that it was only right to find a massage place that is closer.

Full body massages are my thing, although this place also specializes in foot massages, facials and mani/pedis. This place is pretty busy, so make sure that you call for an appointment or you could be turned down or waiting for some time. This establishment is definitely very nicely decorated and clean, which just makes the ambiance very relaxing and enjoyable. There are rooms for single massages and couple massages. I always come here with my boyfriend so it's great that we don't have to be in separate rooms.

When you come in, a lady will walk you into a room where you will strip down to your underwear. They have a little cabinet where you can hang your clothes and bag and keep your phone/wallet/keys safe. Then you will lay face down and they'll ask you if you're ready before coming in. The full body massage starts with a dry rub, then with lotion as most places will do it. They spend a majority of time on your back, which I prefer and the lady asked me whether the strength was okay throughout my massage, to ensure that she wasn't hurting me or not using enough strength. Do not be alarmed if they pull down your panties and work on your booty! (That was a first for me, but apparently there are many knots on your bum as well). They also spend a few minutes on your foot which I never got in any other full body massage and they finished off with a head massage. One thing that I found unique to this place is that they used an ointment that has a cooling sensation, and I was told that it is supposed to help the muscle/spot heal (this feels surprisingly good). Oh, they also have hot stones if you get the package deal !! (I highly recommend this, as no massage is complete without hot stones IMO).

After the massage was over, I felt very relaxed (and sleepy). The lady poured a glass of water for me to drink which I thought was very nice of them... I always feel very dehydrated after massages for some reason. I was of course, very sore for the remainder of the day and the day after but I felt much more relaxed and my body was loosened during the days following my massages.

They have package deals here, such as buy 5 get 1 free.. so definitely take advantage of that because I know I will be!

Wow, I am so happy Royal Foot Spa opened here in Rutherford! I've been here twice now, 1st time a few months back for a couples massage with my wife, then more recently by myself when I was feeling extremely stressed out and had knots up and down my back that needed instant gratification!

For the location, just nice and clean. When you first walk in, the foot massage area is off to the left, a public area and shared. A hallway from there leads to the back where there is rooms for couples or single privacy rooms via curtains, but from what I have seen, no more than two beds to a room. Also, something I am going to have to try on my next visit, they have a room in the back with the bars along the ceiling that allow for the masseuse to walk on your back. Highly advised if you haven't tried this before.

For the actual massage, on my last visit my masseuse was Josephine (who also happens to be the owner). What a great massage! She listened to everything I said and followed my instructions, but always checked to make sure I was feeling okay. I like a really strong massage and she was able to provide. Towards the end, she used hot stones to finish and I walked out feeling knot free after a very hard week at work.

Pricing was not bad at all I have to say, definitely worth it in my book. I'm actually contemplating on my next visit getting a 2 or possible 3 hour massage.

I was across the street and noticed this new spa. I figured I'd give it a try. I absolutely loved it! Only $50 for a massage including hot stones! They also have lots of package deals that make the massages cost even less! I love a very, very firm massage and most places don't deliver. If you like a massage that is not as firm, be sure to tell them up front. I have been back 10 times so far and will now get a free massage on my next visit! Their hours are also very accommodating (I believe 10am - 9pm).

They open at 10am but I called at 9 asking if they would allow us to come in earlier. To my surprise she answered and told me she would do 9:45. Anyways we told her we wanted a 30min body massage. She showed us to a dimly lit room and told us to take everything off but our underwear. Then her and a guy came in and he massaged me and she massaged my boyfriend. First they cover you with a blanket & massage you on top of it so that you start warming up and getting comfortable. Oh the bed is HEATED, felt great! Then they bring the blanket down and massage your arms and back with lotion and oil. It felt amazing it was so quiet and relaxing. They also make sure you're ok with the pressure they're putting on. His hands felt great didn't even feel like hands massaging me! At the end they grab a warmed towel and lay it on your back and then clean the oil off. After the body massage was done we decided we wanted a foot massage too. She said she could have done it on the beds but we had already come out of the room so we sat in these comfortable chairs. They leaned them back and placed the pillows behind you and made sure you were comfortable. Oh and they tucked you in a warm blanket. We got a 30 min foot massage and she told us to close our eyes and relax and listen to the peaceful music. The foot massage was great. Afterwards they served us cups of water and then while I waited for my bf to get cash for the tip she offered me green tea as well. The lady was very nice if we are ever in the area we will definitely be back. I have absolutely no complaints.

Finally a fairly priced Chinese foot and massage center. Clean and relaxing space. Suggest making an appointment, as they had to reject a few walk-ins. They had 3 girls working at my visit, but said they have 4 usually.

Omg so I came to the area to get a wax and saw this place across the street. I did the 45 dollars foot massage with scrubs. Mounia was my massage therapist. She is one of the most humble, nice, and loving person I have ever met in my life. She is a sweetheart and the massage was so great that I pretty much fell asleep. When I left and was walking to my car I felt like I was walking on clouds. The only downfall was the guy that works there came out and told us to be quiet which I thought was rude because we were not talking that loud but other than that I will definitely recommend this place and ask for Mounia. I will be back every 2 weeks. If I could go every week I would but I have a two year old, so you know how that goes. I took a star off because of that rude guy, there wasn't any other customers in there at the time. So that was uncalled for.

I had the body massage for 1 hr and it was so good that i came back within the week for a goot massage which i really really loved. I left the place so relaxed. Josephine is very good they don't cheat you with the minutes they even give you extra minutes. Excellent????????????

Love this place. A local treasure. The business is nice and clean. And the massage therapist are great. The prices are affordable and the staff is great. The only negative would be more private room. The foot massages are so lovely. I would definitely recommend.

Really liked it here! Never knew this spot existed and now I'm super happy because I'll be going back. Mike was great! Strong hands and really worked out my neck kinks. I liked his techniques. Definitely relaxing after long days at work. Highly recommend! Fair prices too.

It was my first time going there with my husband. They put us both in a couples room. The atmosphere was great and very relaxing. Michael did a very great job with my full body massage and my husband was also impressed with Josephine who did his massage. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back again.

Been here 2 time and I am making it part of my weekly schedule. Its clean, the prices are fair and the massage it good. This isn't a spa experience, its an Asian Foot/Massage place so go in with that expiation and you will leave happy and relaxed.

My husband and i went in to try the foot massage. It was amazing! This spot is clean, quiet, and the staff is friendly and gracious. More importantly, the massage was excellent. We'll be going back for a full body massage next week.

My husband and I got a couples body massage which was amazing! We made an appt for a Saturday at 11am and were the only 2 in the place. The rooms are separated by sheets. They have various packages which mix body and foot massages all varying in price. We paid $45pp for a 60min massage. We both walked out completely satisfied. We definitely will return!

Wow amazing full body massage. Did an hour for $45 with Monvia. She was AMAZING !!!! She was very cautious too always asking if it was okay. One of the best full body massages I have gotten. I recommend anyone to go there but just an FYI, they do massage your booty without the blanket on it lol

Overall, I will definitely be back, she was great. Thank you!!!

Just came from this new neighborhood spa place, after receiving their promo card in the mail. Opted for the Body Works, Foot Massage and Hot Stone (package C), as expertly provided by friendly owner Josephine and masseur Michael. The 90-minute strong deep tissue and reflexology massage I asked for and received is by far the best (and most reasonable) I've had east of the Hudson -- at par, if not better than what I've had in Chinatown. Definitely worth the visit -- I'm already planning my next!.. PS: Call ahead, for an appointment (if you can), as they can get busy.

I'm a very hard customer to win over. I'm going back to RFS because of its spotless interior and staff. I strongly recommend investing some time and more than reasonable amount of money to relax for an hour. Worth it.

I went there this past Sunday and received the best massages from Lily. (I got both the body-1hr. and the foot massage-1hr.). She was attentive and knew what she was doing. You can tell she's very experienced. The place was super clean, nice and the massage chair was amazingly huge and comfortable. The owner, Josephine was also very attentive to my needs. I will definitely go back again. This place is definitely worth a try.

Great, great upper back massage, that took away all the knots in a shoulder that had been in pain for a few days. Terrific foot massage, in a very relaxing new place. Wonderful place and thrilled it's in Rutherford. I will definitely be a returning customer!

The foot massages are amazing! And with an hour long foot massage you also get a bit of an upper back massage, which worked all of the kinks out of my shoulders. Michael has such strong and skillful hands. The place is clean and nice, such a relaxing atmosphere with comfortable arm chairs (with blankets) and an electric fire place. I was so relaxed I started falling asleep. I'll definitely be going back.

My husband and I went to get 1-hour foot massages the a few weeks ago. They had very recently opened and the place was spotless. The owner is a sweet woman, who explained to us how important proper sanitation and cleanliness are to her. She had me there because I'm all about sanitizing (I'm a pro makeup artist and it's extremely important in my line of work). The massages were amazing, the best we've had at anywhere similar. We will absolutely be back again! This is our go to spot from now on. They also offer back massages. :-)
